| better visit this place between september and may to avoid the crowd and very very hot weather.. well it's still hot in winter:) not too hot so that you get yourself fried but in a nice way, you know, enough to swim or sunbathe | |

| Yeah the tiny beach-like thing near the town center is more like it's for sitting there and enjoying the view than swimming. Try a boat trip to Turunc or do something better, and spend your holiday in Turunc!:) There are various alternatives for a low budget or a more expensive and luxurious holiday in Turunc; which is a little touristic village and has what we call a "blue flag"(that symbolizes the coast's being very clean) I recommend the "mavi deniz hotel" on the coast,a four-star hotel with warm and welcoming environment and staff. DO NOT leave marmaris without enjoying at least one of the various daily yatch trips to the bays, beaches and islands around, especially "cleopatra island".. Lastly, beware of the shopkeepers who are eager to sell you things, usually with a higher price than what it actually costs. | |
