Your first introduction To Side states that it is approximately 15 Kms from Antalya.
I live in Side and travel by car to Antalya regularly, and it is a 45 minute drive, nearer to 60 Kms |

I have been to Turkey on three ocassions and to a different place each time. I have never been to Side,but will be travelling there on Tuesday 23th June 09, I will galdly make a comment on what I truly believe Side as to offer as a place to go to for your Holidays, whether it be with your children or other half etc.....

| Side is lovely when the weather is good but dont travel there in May. Cheap and plenty of shopping to be done also a wide range of trips, local to marina so boat trips cheaper direct from there. Third time here but very bad weather. Bodrum also very nice. | |

jst got bak frm turkey,on 1/10/08. stayd in a fab hotel calld pelacan :D, didnt want to cum bak :( every 1 in the hotel are gr8 thy all made my 18th birthday a fantastic 1 and will neva b forgotton lol and i cant beleva what has happend to ozzy :O he woz a gr8 person and always made every 1 smile in the hotel , and now he has gone not working in ther no mor :( u still wont b 4 got tho oz lol and the queen restrant in side is fab as well, i reconmend tht evry 1 shauld go and try it u b pleasd with what u get, and the staff are fab, and most of them are fit lol, and anton well were do a begin about him hez fab to get on with :D and he made my birthday meal there gr8, a wasent expectin any thing lyk it :D thnx and even tho i cudent even walk outa the hotel with out bein harassed because im blond haha i stll enjoyd it. and will deffernatly will cinsider on going again. thnx verry much to all of u luv kimmy xxx |

We have just returned from Side 23/9/08. Stayed in Sun City apartments, which were great, all staff friendly and helpfull, very good entertainment and will go the extra mile for any special occasion you might be celebrating. All restuarants around the area are fabulous espacially Cihan. Also look out for Jessica, the most gorgeous cat you have ever seen, we nick named her Gizzy as she has the most biggest eyes, she can be found bouncing around at the Pelican bar and restuarant. For all of your water entertaining go to the Miami beech club, they will certainly look after you.

| side is the most best place ive been in turkey and I have been to loads of places in turkey because we go to different places every year and side was the best for me the peopple are so nice we went to a restaraunt everynight for a week but I cant remember the name but it was a nice place so if you were to go anywhere in turkey go to side its very historic aswell. | |

| Still ongoing fight with GOLDTRAIL since Augst 07, photographic evidence of the pitiful apartment we were switched to at the last minute have been sent to Watchdog. Three families so far have declined their holiday since finding out Goldtrail were the travel group and booked with a better firm. They have lost approx 5-6 grand so far just by bad publicity I will certainly put any of my family, friends or work collegues off travelling with that company. | |

| Side is really wonderful,I think. When you've had enough of the sun, there is always a lot you can do to keep yourself entertained. The Roman sites are interesting, you can browse in the shops, look at the most beautyful jewelry, talk to people - most of them are polite, talkative and makes you feel welcome. And theres is always a nice restaurant, in which you can get the most delicious food! | |

| Been back over two weeks now put our complaint into the travel shop along with photographic evidence of the pitiful apartment inwhich Goldtrail changed us to two weeks before we went away and have heard nothing. Typical of a greedy company that takes your money and ruins your hard earned holiday. Ask before you book who is your travel guide, I strongly advise not to use Goldtrail at all. | |

| Has anyone got any information about Dreamy Apartments in SIDE as we will be staying there following a change of apartments 17/08/07. We have been looking forward to our holiday then 2weeks before our tour operator rang to tell us they have changed our accommodation and we can't find out why or anything about Dreamy apartments they have changed us to. Ive been to Side twice, and will be coming again on the 4/8/07 and cannot wait.
I was last here two years ago with my hubby graham , alas he died earlier this year but in memory of two great holidays im back with my whole family. 12 0f us infact and all though im staying in a different hotel i have made many friend here and intend to visit them all. especially Ali bey at the yuksar pension great place nice and clean and cheap. And of course my favorite resturant the soup kitchen in the old town and mehmet one of the partners who took us up into the mountains for a lovely meal and to magnavat fall fantastic place cannot wait to get on little beach. if you are stuck for a destination go to side you cannot go wrong. ask for ali bey pension very nice place i recomend it. |

| I visited Turkey in late October last year with a few of my friends. We had a wicked time! On a night we would go to the golden fizz bar, lyndas bar and the queen, which are all both restaurant and dance bars, with very friendly people.Through the day we would fall asleep on the sunbeds at the side of our pool at the hotel Melissa gardens. WICKED STAFF! I have been all over the world but i can quite frankly say side has to be the best holiday ever, and i am planning on visiting them all again in summer. CANT WAIT!!!!! | |
