Getting to Amasya

The nearest airport to Amasya is Samsun, which is 135 kms away. Sivas is the nearest railway station, Amasya being on the Sivas - Samsun railway. However, the trains from Sivas are rather slow and not very comfortable. The best way to get there is by bus or car through the Europe - Iran international highway. It takes between 2 to 8 hours to reach Amasya by road from most of the neighboring places.
