Getting to Dolmabahce Palace

The Dolmabahce Palace is closed on Mondays and Thursdays so you need to choose one of the other days of the week to visit it. The Zytinburnu-Findikli tram is the most convenient way to reach the palace. The tram runs from Sultanahmet Square across the Golden Hornto Karakoy and then goes north very close to the palace. From Taskim Square, you can take a taxi to the palace. It is best to take a guided tour of the palace in order to enjoy it fully.
