Getting to Iznik

Iznik is quite a distance away from Istanbul and only one hour away from Bursa, so the best way to visit Iznik is while traveling from Istanbul to Bursa. Again traveling with a ferry is a much faster option than traveling by road. Take a fast catamaran ferry at the Istanbul's Yenikapi ferry terminal that will take you over the Sea of Marmara to Yalova. From Yalova you can take a minibus to Iznik where after a detailed tour of the city you can finally board a minibus to Bursa.
