How to Get to Pergamum

Bus is the best method of traveling to Pergamum and especially if you are planning a day trip from Izmir, Ayvalik, Ephesus or Cannakale. The nearest airport is at Izmir and you can also avail of the train from Bandirma to Izmir, however the trains are much slower than the bus. You can also take the Istanbul to Bandirma ferry and then take a bus to Pergamum. This saves a lot of time.
