Adana Cuisine

Lying midway between Asia and Europe, Turkey is a melting pot of cultures. Its cuisine too reflects these myriad influences.

You can discern traces of Syrian influence in Adana's cuisine. Otherwise, Adana's cuisine can be aptly summed up in one word: 'hot'. Salgam is the hugely popular local drink made from turnips and grape juice.
