Weather During Solar Eclipse in Turkey

The one thing that can play spoilsport is the weather. Meteorologists and weather wizards predict a mildish weather for Turkish Antalya (the area that is going to enjoy total eclipse). There is a chance of rain.

On the Black Sea coast, (Ordu) it will most likely be cooler than the Mediterranean coast, warmer than central Antalya, and almost certainly overcast most of the time.

Overall, it can be said that there is a 50% chance of having a clear sky for the viewing of the eclipse. A Turkish late March has often been rainy in the past. It is best to keep one's fingers crossed.
